(C) A/DCM on March 26 covered ref points on the UNSC open session on Iraq with Ali al-Ayed, personal assistant to Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher. A/DCM asked that Jordan make a positive statement regarding the conflict in Iraq. Al-Ayed said that he did not think Jordan's UN PermRep would be making any remarks at the session, but undertook to pass the request to the Jordanian Mission to the UN. GNEHM
