(C) In the absence of the King, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister (all in Abu Dhabi), A/DCM March 16 conveyed ref points on the Atlantic Summit to Ali al-Ayed, Personal Assistant to Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher, urging that the GOJ support publicly the Atlantic Summit's forthcoming statement on Iraq and the future of the Iraqi people. Al-Ayed responded that the GOJ would read the statement carefully to see whether Jordan could associate itself with it. GNEHM
