Reasons: 1.5 (B & D) 1. (C) On January 30, 2003, Pol-Mil officer delivered reftel letter regarding the February 9-12 NATO High Level Group meeting in Colorado Springs to MFA/NATO Dept Official Rende. Rende promised to deliver the letter that day to Director General For International Security Affairs Morali. Rende commented that AMB Morali intended to attend this meeting, and that he valued being an active participant in NATO affairs. PEARSON
