Dr. Obafemi was receptive to the U.S. position on the EU's proposed requirement for wood packaging materials. He said Nigeria shares similar concerns as the United States and other countries on this measure and he promised to share the U.S. position paper with his colleagues both in Abuja and Geneva and provide feedback in the coming days.
