Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

(SBU) Stressing its importance to U.S. interests, the
Ambassador raised the status of the Article 98 agreement with
National Assembly Speaker Jassem Al-Khorafi during a December
5 meeting. Al-Khorafi reaffirmed that the Foreign Affairs
Committee had approved the agreement and forwarded it to the
full Assembly for ratification. Although the Agreement is
item number 90 on Parliament's agenda -- Parliament is still
debating the first agenda item according to the Speaker's
Office Director -- Al-Khorafi said the measure would likely
be approved as part of a package of bilateral agreements
recommended by the Foreign Affairs Committee.
