Oya Karakas, Head of Department in the MFA General Directorate of Multilateral Economic Affairs, told us that she would need to consult with colleagues on Turkey's position with respect to the issue of eligible importing countries and would get back to us. However, given the December 4 to 6 Ramadan holiday, Embassy does not expect to obtain any further information from the GOT before December 9. Pearson
