US embassy cable - 05AMMAN9063

Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

1. Summary: Embassy Amman would like to request
IIP's assistance in recruiting Dr. Samuel Coale of
Wheaton College for three program days during the
period December 2-6, 2005, to address students and
scholars at Jordanian institutions. The speaker's
lectures will include: a lecture with Political

at the American Corner at the University of Jordan,
a round-table discussion at the Center for Strategic
Studies with members and contacts of the Center, a
lecture at the Center for Protection and Freedom of

on the current state of American Studies, including
a discussion of his recent publication on conspiracy

how to recognize irresponsible theories and combat
them, using a comparative approach.

be shared by both hosting regional posts.
