David W. Ball. For reasons 1.4(b)(d). 1. (C) Charge called on Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director of Bilateral Relations Mohamed Ali Hassan to seek support to add the 'red crystal' emblem to the red cross and red crescent now used with the Geneva convention, and for Magen David Adom (MDA) membership to the IRC/RC Movement. Charge noted that the time was right to recognize MDA humanitarian work and cooperation. The Director said he would convey the request to the appropriate officials in his government. RAGSDALE
