The Canadians confirmed their support for Gurria. In subsequent conversations, FAC officials have told us that although their support for Gurria is firm, they feel constrained to maintain a relatively low profile because of the role of Canada's OECD Ambassador in the selection process, and therefore will not be actively lobbying for Gurria.
