COLONEL THANAYOS SUKRATANA REF: DEA MEMO/E-MAIL DATED 9 NOVEMBER 2005 1. (U) This is an action request for human rights verification required by the Leahy Amendment; see Para. 2. 2. (U) DEA has requested that the Embassy/State Department complete human rights vetting request for Police Colonel Anurak SAITHONG and Police Lt. Colonel Thanayos SUKRATANA who will be new signatures for payments made to their units by DEA personnel. Embassy Bangkok possesses no credible information of gross violations of human rights by this person. Embassy Bangkok Political Counselor, Susan M.
