Guyana was not included in the 2004 Country Report on Terrorism. Post's reading of the instructions indicates Guyana will not require a "detailed assessment" for 2005 because no acts of international terrorism occurred in Guyana, Guyana is not a state sponsor of terrorism, there are no known Guyanese terrorist groups, Guyana is not to our knowledge being used as a sanctuary/safe haven for terrorists or terrorist organizations, and the USG has not sought Guyana's cooperation in the investigation or prosecution of international terrorist acts. 2.
