SUBJECT: PRESIDENT AND FORMIN TRAVEL VIA NEW YORK TO 
MEETINGS IN MALTA AND ROME 
 
Post received diplomatic note number 1041/05 from the 
Ministry of Foreign Affairs with President Jagdeo's and 
Foreign Minister Insanally's itineraries for their travel to 
meetings in Malta and Rome. 
 
BEGIN TEXT: 
 
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guyana 
presents its compliments to the Embassy of the United States 
of America and has the hounour to inform that H.E. Mr. 
Bharrat Jagdeo, President of the Republic of Guyana, will be 
heading the Guyana delegation to the Commonwealth Heads of 
Government Meeting in Malta and the Meeting of the United 
Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in Rome from 18-30 
November, 2005.  The other members of the Delegation are the 
Hon. S.R. Insanally, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Lt. Col. 
Francis Abraham, Director of Protocol within the Office of 
the President. 
 
Due to flight arrangements His Excellency, Minister Insanally 
and Lt. Col. Francis Abraham will be required to travel via 
New York to and from their destination. 
 
The itinerary for His Excellency and Lt. Col. Francis Abraham
