US embassy cable - 05KINGSTON2528

Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

On November 8, Poloff delivered reftel talking points by
telephone and fax to Pamela Ingleton, International
Organizations Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
Foreign Trade (MFAFT). Ingleton thanked Poloff for the
information. On November 9, Ingleton called Poloff to say
that she had submitted her recommendation on the referenced
Third Committee resolutions to her delegation in New York.
She explained that Jamaica "never supports no-action
motions." Instead, Ingelton said that she had recommended
that the GOJ should abstain from voting for these resolutions.
