(C) We delivered reftel demarche and talking points to MFA Head of Human Rights Division Darama on November 9. Darama indicated that she would immediately forward our talking points to appropriate departments. She stressed that the GOT strongly supports resolutions which advocate human rights. 3. (C) Darama added that Turkey has "special" relations with Iran, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, but that the GOT would vote on all resolutions after considering EU perspectives. MCELDOWNEY
