Mr. Yagomba, who also was the leader of the Kenyan delegation to the Cape Town Convention in 2001 indicated that the Minister of Transport submitted a memorandum to the Kenyan Cabinet Office urging ratification of the Convention/Protocol about a month ago. He is confident that the Kenyan Cabinet will approve ratification of the Convention/Protocol.
