(U) Embassy Djibouti delivered demarche and letter from Secretary Gutierrez to Mohamed Ali Hassan, Director of SIPDIS Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on October 19th. Djibouti has yet to give its stance regarding the UNESCO Cultural Diversity Convention, however in response to previous demarches the Government indicated that it would likely be sending a representative to the UNESCO conference.
