UNCLAS AMMAN 008299 SIPDIS PARIS FOR UNESCO E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: ETRD, PREL, SCUL, JO, UNESCO SUBJECT: URGENT DIPLOMATIC NOTE AND POINTS DELIVERED REF: STATE 192656 Pol Counselor delivered reftel points on UNESCO's cultural diversity vote to the International Organization's Office of the Foreign Ministry on October 19. In a parallel effort to ensure maximal coverage, Econ Counselor delivered the dipnote and points to Jordan's Minister of Industry and Trade, Sharif Al Zu'bi, at opening of business October 20, with a cover letter urging him to pass instructions to the Jordanian delegation to UNESCO in Paris.
