UNCLAS MASERU 000534 SIPDIS FOR IO/UNP - RAYMOND HOTZ; AF/S E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: PREL, IS, LT, UNGA SUBJECT: HOLOCAUST RESOLUTION REF: STATE 188927 Ambassador raised points in reftel with Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Sekatle on October 18. In the absence of Foreign Minister Moleleki, Dr. Sekatle did not offer a definitive response concerning co-sponsorship. However, she stated the GOL understood the positive intent of the resolution and that she would raise the matter with the Prime Minister this week. Post will report any further response as soon as possible. The GOL is aware of the October 31 UNGA vote. PERRY
