(U) On October 18, Pol/Econ Chief delivered ref A talking
points and Secretary Guiterrez's letter on the UNESCO
Cultural Diversity Convention to Deputy Foreign Minister
Mohiedeen Al-Dhabi. He also delivered ref B demarche on
support for the nomination of Judge Thomas Buergenthal to the
International Court of Justice and ref C letter on the
Foundation for the Future. Al-Dhabi promised to review
Yemen's position on each of the issues. Post will report any
substantive comments septel.
