US embassy cable - 05LIMA4477

Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

We delivered reftel demarche on the World Customs

Chief of SUNAT, Peru's Tax and Customs Authority, on October
17. Mr. Vejaran thanked us for the information,
particularly the sample Letter of Intent, and noted that the
GOP has not yet made a decision on whether to sign the
Letter of Intent to implement the WCO framework. He will
discuss the issue with the Director of SUNAT and will inform
