Krajeski for Reasons 1.4 (b) and (d ). On October 13, Ambassador spoke with Foreign Minister Qirbi on the recent compromise between Iraqi political leaders regarding the new Iraqi constitutional draft. Per reftel, Ambassador urged Qirbi to take immediate steps to reinforce the breakthrough by issuing public statements welcoming the compromise and privately urging Iraqi contacts to engage in the Iraqi political process.
