Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

UNCLAS MUSCAT 001533 SIPDIS SENSITIVE STATE FOR NEA/ARPI E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: AEMR, ASEC, MARR, PREL, AMGT, CASC, PK, International Relations SUBJECT: TFPK01: OMAN GRANTS BLANKET OVERFLIGHT CLEARANCE FOR RELIEF MISSIONS On October 12, Royal Oman Air Force HQ informed Embassy Muscat Defense Attache Office that it is granting blanket diplomatic clearance for all relief flights overflying Oman to the afflicted regions. Aircraft need only initiate contact with Omani ATC prior to entering Omani airspace, and use the appointed flight designation for relief-related missions. We note that granting such blanket flight clearance approval is an exceptional step by the Omani government. BALTIMORE
