We made ref a demarche and provided Judge Buergenthal CV to
MFA International Organizations official Meltem Gunay on
October 3. Gunay expressed appreciation for the information,
said the MFA would seriously consider Judge Buergenthal's
candidacy, but offered no insight on Turkey's position on his
renomination.
