Bernal informed ESTHOFF October 3 that Spain would be
represented at the October 6-7 IPAPI SOM by Spanish
Ambassador to the United States Carlos Westendorp and the two
Spanish Embassy Counselors responsible for Health and
Agricultural Affairs. Bernal did not have the names, dates
of birth, and passport numbers of the Washington-based
Spanish officials. She suggested that Washington contact the
Spanish Embassy for this information.
