11. Comments. MOPC--Ministerio de Obras Publicas y
Comunicaciones is the govmt. department of public
works. Tender is split into five lots, reported in
T0021 /22 /23. Tender will be financed with funds
from the IDB--Interamerican Development Bank Loan
933/OC-PR. Foreign bidders must be from IDB member
countries, and must participate only thru their duly
registered local agents or representatives.
Specifications cost Guaranies 200,000 to be
deposited in Account No.490/Otros Recursos at the
Banco Central del Paraguay, and can be viewed at the
websites http://www.mopc.gov.py and
http://www.contratacionesparaguay.gov.py/app/ p_lla.j
sp. The present free floating exchange rate is
approx. Guaranies 6,080 per U.S. Dollar. Interested
parties must purchase specifications from the MOPC
address only, thru a note on company letterhead,
including full contact data on the firm and its
local legal agent or representative, plus copies of
the money deposit slip.
