Polcouns made ref A demarche and delivered ref B information
September 20 to Abdullah Allawi of the Foreign Ministry's
Europe and Americas Department. British Embassy Amman passed
similar materials to the same office. Allawi understood
Prince Hassan (brother of the late King Hussein) was the most
prominent Jordanian figure so far to confirm his attendance
at the colloquium. Allawi undertook to inform us when FM
Kasrawi decides whether he can attend.
