Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

Mission welcomes the visit of and grants country clearance to Colonel Timothy Endy to travel to Geneva, Switzerland to attend the WHO Dengue Vaccine Steering Committee Meeting November 15 - 21, 2005. Traveler can be contacted through the WHO at Telephone number 41-22-840-5160. Hotle information has not been provided. ----------------- Security Advisory ----------------- 2. Staying safe in Geneva calls for exercising the same routine circumspection that one would in any large city. Most reported criminal activity involves residential incidents rather than street incidents. Nonetheless, be wary of pickpockets in airports, train stations and venues, such as Lake Geneva, which attract large crowds. While Geneva is not generally associated with terrorism incidents, travelers should be alert for any acts of possible surveillance. Unusual or suspicious incidents should be reported immediately to the RSO office. Reducing the likelihood of security infractions is a post priority. All TDY personnel who will process classified information should contact the RSO office with any questions concerning the proper storage of national security information to include computer hard drives and software. Secure conference rooms are also available for your use. Long-term TDY personnel are required to have a security briefing with the RSO before ID badge can be issued. US Mission Geneva contact person regarding country clearances: Mary Anne Cummings, Tel: 41-22-749-4865, or Email: CummingsM@state.gov. Traveler is not required to check in with the Mission upon arrival. If assistance is required, Mission point of contact is Health Attache, David Hohman - office phone (022) 749-4623. Moley
