UNCLAS BOGOTA 008605 SIPDIS DEPARTMENT FOR PROTOCOL E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: OFDP, PREL, PGOV, CO SUBJECT: MFA INFORMED OF AGREMENT FOR AMBASSADOR PASTRANA REF: STATE 167955 Post informed MFA by diplomatic note that the nomination of Andres Pastrana Arango as Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia has been approved. The MFA does not have a travel schedule for Ambassador Pastrana at present, but expects that he will be in Washington by mid-October. Post will inform the Department of Ambassador Pastrana's travel plans as soon as MFA finalizes them. DRUCKER
