US embassy cable - 05YEREVAN1641

Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

(SBU) Ambassador delivered reftel A points and Statement of
Core Principles to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Arman
Kirakossian on September 9. While Kirakossian was not able
to commit the GOAM to the partnership, he indicated that
Armenian participation is likely and speculated as to what
would be the best method of announcing Armenia's involvement.
The Ministries of Health and Agriculture are also actively
engaged on the avian flu issue and are, therefore, likely to
support Armenian participation in the partnership (reftel B).
