(U) The Government of Djibouti has informed Post that it would like to donate 50,000 USD cash to the USG for general assistance to the Katrina relief effort. The Director of the Central Bank said there are also private individuals in Djibouti that have expressed interest in making donations as well. Please advise. MCGOWAN
