SUBJECT: IMI: SANAA BASIN WATER MANAGEMENT PROJECT TENDER
(ICB NO. G12/001) IN YEMEN
1. The Sanaa Basin Water Management Project (SBWMP) of the
Ministry of Water and Environment is inviting international
companies to bid to supply equipment for pressurized
irrigation systems (drips, bubbler, and sprinkler) and PVC
pipes and fittings, PE pipes and fittings.
2. Bidding will be conducted through the international
competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank?s
guidelines.
3. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be
purchased by interested bidders on how to submit a written
application upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 100 or
equivalent.
4. Bids must be delivered to the below address at or before
11:00 am on September 17th, 2005. Late bids will be
rejected.
5. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less
than 2.5% of the bid price in a freely convertible currency
valid for 120 days from the date of bid opening.
6. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders,
representatives should they choose to attend at the above
address at 11:00 on September 17, 2005.
