Faquira stated his office was unaware of the upcoming Task Force meeting. He said he did not believe that the GRM would send a representative. Faquira indicated that the GRM did not have the knowledge and resources to consider issues of biotechnology at this time, though he did offer to share the information with his counterparts in the Ministry of Agriculture and provide post with any substantive comments.
