1.  MEA UN Political Director Pankaj Sharma told Poloff that 
the Indian delegation to the September UNGA High-Level Event 
in New York has not yet been finalized, as the composition 
will be the prerogative of the Prime Minister.  However, he 
informed us that previous delegations have included the 
individuals holding the positions outlined below.  Post has 
also heard unconfirmed reports that Sonia Gandhi, the head of 
the governing UPA coalition, may also attend.  We will 
provide updates as the delegation composition is confirmed.
