1.  (U)  On 8/1, POLOFF met with Julio Peralta, Director of 
International Organizations within the Foreign Ministry to 
discuss Paraguay's attendance at the upcoming UNGA in 
September.  At this time, Peralta is unable to provide a 
complete list of Paraguay's delegation, although he did 
confirm the attendance of President Nicanor Duarte Frutos and 
Foreign Minister Rachid: 
 
A.  Head of State:

-- Spouse will not/not attend 
-- Spanish to English interpretation services required
