(C) In a July 31 meeting with Charge d\'Affaires, Ministry of
Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Khaled Al-Jarallah said that
Kuwait\'s position on the G-4 UNGA resolution to expand the UN
Security Council is \"not far from the U.S. position.\"
Previously, Al-Jarallah more clearly stated Kuwait\'s
intention of voting against the G-4 resolution (refs B and
C). The GOK has yet to publicly declare its official
position despite Al-Jarallah\'s stated intention to do so (ref
C).
