Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

(SBU) On June 27, PolOff followed-up with MFA International
Organizations Human Rights Officer Janio Tunion on MDA
demarche (reftels A and B) of June 6 (reftel c). Tunion told
PolOff that his office is busy consolidating its position on
UN Commission on Human Rights reform, but had not yet made a
final decision on a response to the Swiss Circular note.
Tunion said that the GOP supported "in principle" holding a
conference to adopt the Third Additional Protocol and to
include the society of Magen David Adom in the Red Cross/Red
Crescent societies. Tunion had no further information as of
July 5. Embassy will report any further developments to the
Department.
