Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

SUBJECT: EMERGENCY ACTION COMMITTEE - JEDDAH, KSA
Classified By: Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley, Consul General,
Reasons 4.1 (a) (b)
1. (S/NF) On 06/26/2005, the CG called a meeting of the
Emergency Action Committee to discuss the security situation
in Jeddah. In attendance was the the DCM from Riyadh and
representatives from RSO, Dhahran RSO, PA, BPM, CONS, IPC,
POL, DHS, USMTM and OPM/SANG.
2. (S/NF) RSO advised the EAC of recent increases in
security presence around Jeddah. According to the MOI, the
increase in checkpoints and patrols is part of standard
procedure and not in conjunction with any specific threat or
concern for attack. The DCM reminded the EAC of the
potential for circular reporting, often generated by the MOI,
as they continue to keep their forces vigulant. No new or
specific threats are directed at the Coonsulate.
3. (S) The EAC approved the social calendar, which included
events this week, as the CG prepares to depart Post.
