Pol/Econ chief June 19 delivered reftel demarches on donor
contributions for AU Darfur expansion and fighting hunger and
addressing humanitarian needs in Africa to MFA Assistant
Under Secretary for Coordination and Follow Up Shaikh Abdul
Aziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa. Shaikh Abdul Aziz responded
that Bahrain was not in a position to provide financial
assistance for these efforts.
