Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

C O N F I D E N T I A L NEW DELHI 004634 SIPDIS E.O. 12958: DECL: 06/16/2015 TAGS: KUNR, PREL, IN, UNSC SUBJECT: GOI HOPING FOR MORE ON UN REFORMS REF: STATE 111637 Classified By: A/PolCouns Matt Boyse for Reasons 1.4 (B, D) (C) Poloff delivered reftel on USG priorities for UN reform to MEA Deputy Secretary (UN Political) Pankaj Sharma on June 15. Sharma welcomed the documents, but quickly turned the subject to G-4 UNSC reform proposals, pointing out that the issue "has been debated for twelve years now." Noting that New Delhi recognizes the USG is still considering all options, Sharma quipped that India is waiting as if it had made a marriage proposal: the wait is less of a concern "as long as we get the right answer."
