Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

UNCLAS YEREVAN 001067 SIPDIS SENSITIVE DEPT FOR EUR/CACEN, IO E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: TBIO, AM, UNESCO, KSCI SUBJECT: ARMENIA WILL CONVEY MESSAGE ON BIOETHICS DECLARATION REF: STATE 109242 1. (SBU) We delivered demarche and talking points to MFA Chief of International Organizations Department Valery Mkrtumyan and MFA Americas Department Chief Lilit Toutkhalian June 15 per reftel instructions. While our MFA contacts were generally receptive to USG positions and promised to raise our points with their mission in Paris, Mkrtumyan reminded us that Armenia does not yet have a full-time representative who handles UNESCO issues. He assured us, however, that the MFA would ensure that their bi-lateral mission was aware of the issue and would seek out the US delegation for further discussion. EVANS
