US embassy cable - 05MAPUTO765

Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

On June 16, Econ/Poloff delivered reftel demarche to Faruque
Faquira, Head of Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs'
Directorate for International Organizations and Conferences
(DOIC). Faquira stated he would forward the talking points
to the Mozambican Embassy in Paris, who will represent the
GRM at the June 20-24 negotiating session there. Though
Faquira could not respond in detail to USG concerns, he
stated that the GRM did believe reaching consensus on the
draft was important. (Note: Mozambique was elected a member
of the Intergovernmental Bioethics Committee during the 32nd
session of the General Conference. End Note).
