ESTOff delivered Reftel demarche and talking points to the head of the Americas Desk at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kuat Seksenalinov on June 13. 2. ESTOff asked Seksenalinov to convey the substance of the demarche to Askar Akhmetov, head of the MFA office on specialized international organizations. Akhmetov was on official travel at the time of the demarche, and was not due to return prior to Reftel response deadline. Post will follow up with Akhmetov upon his return to Astana. Ordway NNNN
