BERRY. REASONS: 1.5 (B) AND (D) 1. (S/NF) On August 8, POLCOUNS delivered points in reftel to Ali Al-Ayed, personal assistant to the foreign minister. Ayed asked if there was any more specific information on the names of the companies involved, the shipping and transit route, or the shipment schedule, and also asked if the information in reftel had been communicated through ORCA channels. Ayed told POLCOUNS that he would deliver the information to the foreign minister and other appropriate government agencies. 2. (S/NF) We will follow up on this through ORCA channels. Gnehm
