(C) On June 9, MFA Arms Control and Disarmament Department
Head Osman Yavuzalp telephoned PolMilOff to confirm that
Turkey no longer seeks to share the U.S. quota for June 13-17
Open Skies flights. He advised us to contact the Turkish
military on whether Turkey is still interested in sharing the
flight quotas for Aug. 15-19 or July 25-29. We will follow
up with the military as soon as possible.
