(S/NF) Per reftel, PolMilOff passed Embassy Baghdad's recommended course of action for the GOT to proceed with an extradition request for two Turkish nationals detained by MNF-I to MFA Head of Iraq Department H. Avni Botsali on June 6. (Additionally, we understand that per its own previous instructions RMAS passed on a similar message to the Turkish National Police to pass to MFA.) Botsali responded that he expects Turkey will follow Embassy Baghdad's recommended course of action. We appreciate Embassy Baghdad's support in this matter. MOORE
