Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

S E C R E T LJUBLJANA 000369 SIPDIS DEPT FOR MISSILE TECHNOLOGY CONTROL REGIME COLLECTIVE, NP/CBM, EUR/NCE AND EUR/PRA E.O. 12958: DECL: 06/06/2015 TAGS: PARM, PREL, ETTC, IR, SI SUBJECT: MTAG 05-96: SLOVENIA TO INVESTIGATE PROCUREMENT OF ITEMS FOR IRAN REF: STATE 104548 Classified By: Deputy Chief of Mission Dean J. Haas for reasons 1.4(b) and (d). (S) Pol-Miloff delivered reftel talking points on 07 June to MFA Security Policy Department staffer Bostjan Jerman, who handles non-proliferation issues, and MFA North America Desk Officer Oliver Djaic. Jerman, who returned to the MFA from overseas in 2004, was unfamiliar with the 2002 Ioce/Elopsys case but said he would look it up to use as a starting point. He said he would share the information with relevant law enforcement authorities and begin an investigation. Jerman immediately grasped the importance of the inquiry and noted that Slovenia needed to cooperate fully in any investigation, especially as an aspiring member of the MTCR. Embassy will continue to follow-up with Jerman and report any findings immediately. ROBERTSON NNNN 2005LJUBLJ00369 - Classification: SECRET v1.6.2
