Krajeski for reasons 1.4 b and d. (C) Pol/Econ Chief delivered reftel demarche to Deputy Foreign Minister Mustafa Noman on June 5 requesting ROYG support to convene a diplomatic conference in late October to adopt the Third Additional Protocol. Noman said he had already received the request from the Swiss, and promised to study the matter and respond. As to the current position of regional governments on membership of the Magen David Adom in the International Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement, the DFM was not aware where others stood on the Swiss request.
