Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

UNCLAS VIENNA 001778 SIPDIS STATE FOR IO/T DRISCOLL AND IO/S JOHNSTON GENEVA FOR CHAMBERLIN AND KRUGLIKOVA E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: AORC, ELAB, AU, ILO SUBJECT: SUPPORT FOR ADDITIONAL ILO 2006-2007 BUDGET RESTRAINT - AUSTRIAN RESPONSE REF: STATE 94764 On May 25, Post conveyed reftel points to Manfred Poiger of the Austrian Foreign Ministry's department that is responsible for ILO issues. On May 31, Poiger told Post that the GOA does not support a significant increase in the 2006-2007 ILO budget. Poiger, however, noted that the ILO Director General recently backed away from some proposed increases in the budget, which would result in a 1.1 percent increase in real terms. Such an increase, Poiger said, might be acceptable to the GOA. Brown
