Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

Jordanian FM Qasrawi and Israeli FM Shalom met May 22 at Jordan's Dead Sea conference center on the margins of the World Economic Forum. At a press walk-out after the meeting, each foreign minister said he would ask the United States to support the re-launch of trilateral economic discussions for the benefit of the region. Although the statements were not picked up by the media, Israel's Ambassador in Amman and the head of the Jordanian FM's private office each confirm that the statements were made. 2. The Trilateral Economic Committee, which is provided for in the 1994 Jordan-Israel peace treaty, has not met for several years. Post will consult with NEA/ELA and NEA/IPA and develop recommendations for timing and agenda for the meeting. HALE
