(C) Charge raised reftel points on May 17 with Foreign Minister Qasrawi and pressed for a quick resolution of the issue. Qasrawi replied that he would discuss this as soon as possible with the Minister of Interior to provide a complete response to our requests. The one outstanding issue, he noted, was whether the GOJ could guarantee us future access to monitor the released individual's welfare. 2. (C) Post will continue to press for a full GOJ response.
